This 1 hour and 15 minute Introduction to Fingerstyle Guitar is a great guide for beginner or intermediate players who are looking to explore the creative potential of their instrument. Join Daniel as he covers a brief history of the modern acoustic guitar and its picking origins in the banjo, right and left hand technique, open tuning potential, and thoughts on composition. Less of a formal lesson and more an exercise in developing your own creative potential and the emotions that guide it. This class was originally created for a university level studio guitar class, but is available for stream or download upon email request to Daniel.
